- ACE has a vision to promote economic development, agricultural industry development, its growth, sustainability and rural farmer integration. We aim to empower communities through the provision of structured agricultural markets that work for everyone and provision of information on emerging and relevant issues for informed decisions by farmers. Information is provided through mobile phones (mobile app, SMS and social media), emails, radio, field officers and sometimes newspapers. At ACE we developed an extension App called Zaulimi where different users can access production content, commodity prices, market place, adverts and gross-margin tables. Production content can be accessed offline once the app is installed in the phone. Currently we have 54,000 users of the App and we want them to access localised weather information.
